Hi guys! Well,for a W115 200 to be worthed RM15k,I think it should have way less than 10% restoration works needed;near pristine condition(construction and mechanical)I'd say:you'd just have to replace all the fluids and you'll be on your way, :-) ! Either that,or maybe the car was once owned by Elvis or John Lennon, :-) ! (PN plate should make it around 1971/72?) I guess your 200 is of the earlier model(pre-1973):narrower front grille,vent-glass,'ivory' steering,flat-tailight
All W115s are 4-cyls(also the 5-cyl 300 diesel,but I don't think it was brought in here),and all W114s are 6-cyls.This is a fact,no matter what 'parts' the car has on. Harvinder,what's the difference between the tailights of the W114 and that of the W115? All I know is that pre-1973,the flat-lens type was used,while 1973-76,the ribbed-type was used. And I'm guessing that your 230.6(W114)is of the later model:no vent-glass,padded steering,wider front grille and smaller STAR base,ribbed tailight lens,longer chrome piece on the trunklid,heavier chrome trimmings around front windscreen,etc. My 1972 230(W114;6-cyl)is of the earlier type.But it has now a 4-cyl 200 engine, :-) !
