Wonderful car, please consider to find and install the missing engine, which will 100% upvalue this beauty. Maybe try to call Terry in Cranbourne, Australia. Tel.: 0448989580.http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/classifieds/index.php?a=2&b=2395
He is giving up his 48 project car and has 3 engines (1 blue flame), (2 216.5) engines, 3 Gear boxes, 3 front doors, 4 front guards, 4 back doors, 3 boot lids, 2 bonnets and more to sell. 14k MYR sounds very reasonable fur the whole bunch offered and you may have all parts you ever need in one go, plus a new (?)front underfloor done already.
Good luck.
Heinz
P.s.:
In case your front seat upholstery is still original from 1948 -it looks gorgeous- you really have a treasure out there.
I suggest a mild restauration and would try to keep the existing patina to enhance the value of the car. Newly painted and upholstered oldies are plenty on the road. Yours looks unique and original. Keep the glamour alive!
