Youngtimer from US I really donīt trust that much. The US way they often do the body repare is miles away from German standards and not acceptable.

Fortunately I am living in Pahang, Malaysia so RHD is preferred and the local market is enough challenge for me. Spares are another story. There the world is at your fingertip if necessairy.

Australia is a good source, Mercedes from the 60īs are not much requested there, so the prices are still very reasonable. Example: Complete 6zyl engine for W111 220S plus all parts and automatic transmission, good running condition, offered for less than 2500 MYR recently. Nobody bought it.
