I was last in Malacca in 2005 and I went to Jonker Street to look for Ringo but someone told me he no longer operates the antique shop. Instead he runs a bar in the same area. I went to that bar and an employee told me Ringo would only come in at about 9pm. I had to rush to Singapore and so I didn't wait. He's quite a guy.The only Ford I liked was the Lotus Cortina. In 1968 a friend had one and it was an impressive car speedwise. He used aero fuel for that car. In the late 70s, Harvey Yap drove the Ford Escort BDA to several victories and I liked the sound of the BDA when it was in full race.
