The Lambo which crashed near the KL Railway Station in the mid 70s belonged to Encik Mohd. Raslan, an accountant from Perak. He founded the accounting firm, Hanafiah Raslan Mohamad. Encik Johan Raslan is his son. The Lambo caught fire during the fatal accident. His wife escaped the crash because she managed to unbuckle the safety belt. He used to speed his Lambo along the Jalan Duta (before we have Jalan Semantan) during evenings. I was also told Grand Prix was held at Jalan Duta, near the Wilayah Mosque, before we have Batu Tiga Circuit. |
