in our quest to locate hidden treasures in the form of classic/vintage cars :-) As far as I know, Barry did not go back to UK. He had PR and after his retirement he left Bruas to live in KL and started a business that supplied stuff to rubber/oil palm estates. I met him once in 1994 (I think) outside the Coliseum Cafe in KL and he gave me a calling card which I promptly lost.That mechanic you referred to must be the same guy who maintained Barry's Toyota which often sounded like a boat to me ..... either due to a blown exhaust system or the mechanic had dropped in a turbocharger without Barry knowing :-)
