Dear kayes, We were on our Christmas break in The Bahamas when we heard about the tidal waves hitting Penang. Thanks to you, we were reassured about hte state in Penang and about the areas affected. As most of us have families and friends in Penang we were very concerned and worried about them. I received an email from my brother assuring us that they were ok but pictures always speak a thousands words. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families. Glad to know that our favourite hote - Golden Sands is still standing. Mind you the weather in The Bahamas is stormy and the waves are very high since yesterday morning. Could it be the effect of the earhtquake? one wonders . Thanks again for the pictures. Saw Yeng and Julian
