Hi , more information on Craft Classes for you
I was taught Beaded shoes, made 3 pairs, Sin Seng Lee 515/517 Penang Road, you can buy all you need from the shop and they show you what to do, one word of advice , I would look around for a good shoe maker as when I got mine made up he used cheap plastic heals and plastic instead of leather I was gutted and never wore them, shame really ( I believe they recommended me to the I used , so look around also at this shop they do knitting /Crochet & Cross Stich Classes. there is also a ribbon and button shop 2 doors down,
and there is another shop almost oppisite, warning cross at the traffic lights as it is a very busy road.
Quilting and Patchwork Classes are held at Hearts & Hands cottage Craft 98 Gajah Tanjung Bunga , Rowena the owner is extremly pleasant, and helpful, she is also an excellent knitter and does wonderful beading ( not sure if she teaches these as well) Closed Mondays and Tuesdays
Other Craft supply shope which I have found are
Sin Soon Lee 5D Rangoon Road
Frendship Quilts 46.c Canetonment Road Pulau Tikus
Soo Thong handicraft and Tailoring articles LOT B1 1.33-36 Ground Floor Komtar ( from Traders turn right cross the road and this little shop is under the stair case )
I am returning in Sept and will be doing some more craft shopping I expect ,
